Hi guys! So in this tutorial we’ll talk about the cool effect using rubbing alcohol has on watercolour. Alcohol and water don’t mix, so when rubbing alcohol is added to watercolors, they repel each other, which makes some fun bubbles and fish-eye type rings!
This technique is specific to alcohol and watercolour, and while easy to do, is very hard to replicate using any other method. It’s something special that only alcohol can do. This technique looks great in mixed media projects, art journals, scrapbooking backgrounds, and simply in watercolour paintings.
So I hope you enjoy, and thanks so much for watching!
