Spring Timelapse Speed Paint

Hi friends! It’s time for another Speedpaint Saturday!  “Spring” is a 9×12″ mixed media painting on 140lb hot press Arches watercolour paper.  I was inspired to do this one by my longing for it to be springtime already!!! Seriously, the cold and the snow needs to GTFO.

So I thought about all the tings I love about spring: a rainbow of fresh colours, blooming flowers, bright yellow dandelions, new baby animals, and butterflies that start to appear!  Hopefully this video will help your winter woes, and make you happy about all the great things that are (slowly but surely) coming our way!

Materials used:

Windsor & Newton Masking Fluid (you can read my blog post with tips on using masking fluid here)
Watercolour (Lukas brand)
Copic Markers
Sakura Souffle Pens
Sakura Gelly Roll Pen in White
Faber Castell Artist Pitt Pen in Black

Thanks so much for watching!!
