Salt Watercolor Technique Tutorial

Hi guys! This video was requested by a lovely viewer, so here it is! Using salt with watercolor produces an effect similar to the alcohol effect, but without the fisheye-looking bubbles and rings. This salt technique makes an effect that looks more like frost, or snowflakes. It would be great for a snowy scene or even against a dark background as a starry sky.

The technique itself is easy to do, but timing it can take a bit of practice. Learn my tips for getting it right the first time in this video!
