The instructions for this bracelet are from a blog called Hope Studios, and it’s really pretty simple, you’re just bascially stringing buttons together with your choice of cord. It looks quite pretty when it’s finished, however. Check out this bracelet:
These bracelets have a really nice, earthy feel to them, but they could easily be blinged up with more fancy buttons! I’ve seen lots of buttons in craft stores that look like broaches, with lots of pretty crystals. They would take this bracelet up a notch into something more for an evening out, like these bracelets:
These are bracelets made from vintage earrings and broaches, but the same idea can be used with the button bracelet tutorial above! I’d love to try my own hand at a DIY bracelet like this, using blingy buttons and vintage earring and necklace parts! I think it would be cute to add a little charm or two hanging down from the bracelet as well, what do you think?
I’ll try my hand at it next week when I’ll be making more earrings and pendants anyway. I already have a super cute lobster claw clasp in mind that would work great in a bracelet. Stay tuned!
