Hi friends! How was your weekend? Well yesterday was Mother’s Day, so I wish a belated happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there! Yesterday is really what inspired me for today’s post. I was thinking about the fun things I created with my mom, and hopped onto Pinterest to find fun crafts that moms (or dads!) can create with their kids! So here’s my top three finds:
Coffee Filter Butterflies
I made these when I was a kid, and had actually forgotten about them. I was so excited when I saw this Pin! You can click on the picture to be taken to Ginger Snap Crafts, the super cool crafting blog that I’ve discovered through this Pin. She uses stamps to dress up the coffee filters before turning them into butterflies. This craft is so fun, and perfect for the spring/summer season! Make one with your kids, I know for sure they’ll love them!
Pipe Cleaner Animals
Another craft I’ve done as a child, but these ones are so awesome-looking! The pin is from Martha Stewart’s website, so naturally they’re going to be awesome. The site gives instructions for making a Tiger, Squirrel, Chameleon,Monkey, and a Deer and Fawn (mother-daughter pairing!).
Whimsical Owl Kite
Now here’s a craft I have not made as a child…and I wish I did! Look at this kite, how awesome is that!?? It helps of course that I’m obsessed with owls, whimsical owls at that, so this kite is right up my alley. Hell, I want to make this thing and I don’t even have kids yet! I’ve definitely pinned this for future use 😉
So that’s it for now, guys! Have fun with your little ones with these awesome crafts, and don’t forget to check out the blogs that they’re from! Thanks for reading and I’ll see you next time!
