Happy Halloween!

Hi friends! Happy Monday!

Halloween is on Thursday, so tomorrow I will carving my pumpkin (I’ll be posting a video of it in timelapse tomorrow as well, so tomorrow’s video might be up a bit later in the day than usual). But today I thought I would share my current seasonal decor.

I don’t decorate for Halloween as much as I decorate for the fall season in general. I love all the warm reds, golds and browns of the season. So this year I just changed my dining table’s centerpiece, and changed up my living room a little bit (Christmas is the time of year when I go all out and decorate the entire house…so be prepared.)

So here’s what I have up this year:

This is my current table centerpiece. The plant is in a metal pumpkin pot (so it can be reused next year), and the little pumpkin filler I got from Michaels last year.

So moving on to my living room, this is my "seasonal table", as it is always changing with the time of year. I love the little thanksgiving/fall-themed garland. I bought it from Loblaw's this year (and will be going back to Loblaw's right after Hallowen to score some of their cute decorations for cheap to put away for next year!

Here's a closeup of the tabletop. That white pheasant is from Loblaw's as well. The candle behind it is the Ashland brand from Michaels, and it smells like ginger bread. It will be staying out throughout the entire fall/winter season. Smells so good!!!

How cute is this little felt pheasant plushie!? It's actually from Loblaw's as well (I should have done a haul video or something, lol) If you're handy with sewing, I doubt it would be too difficult to make yourself.

And this is on my endtable in the living room. That little halloween cat I've had forever, it was from Sears many years ago when they would sell a stuffed animal for each special occasion and the money would go to charity (do they still do this? I haven't been to Sears in forever!) I worked at Sears when I was in high school, and I would always buy the features stuffed animal, they were always so cute, and for a good cause :) So this little guy comes out every year :D

And finally, my decoupage pumpkins that I made this year are sitting on the floor beside the endtable. I like that I can just store them away and bring them out next year (maybe next year I'll do a couple more to add to my little collection!)

So that’s it for today, guys.  Have a great Monday and be sure to come back tomorrow to see my pumpkin carving video! It’s either gonna be awesome or an epic fail.  We’ll see!

Thanks for reading!
