Hello friends! Happy Monday! Today I wanted to share a quick little digital project I whipped up using some free graphics! Here’s what it looks like:
It’s one of my favorite quotes, “She believed she could, so she did” written in a pretty script font surrounded by whimsical flowers. I thought I’d give this little print away today as a free printable you can download and print for yourself to have some fun on this cloudy, cold Monday (well, where I am anyway!). See the bottom of this post for the download link, and if you’re the crafty type yourself (which, if you’re reading this blog, you probable are!) I’ll share with you where I got the font and the floral graphics (psst.. they’re free this week!)
Both design elements are from Creative Market, and this week (week of Feb. 8, 2016), they are free:
The Font is called Awesome Darling
The floral graphics are called Floral Bunch
They are only free for this week, next week they will go back to their regular prices, so download them now if you want them!
Click the titles above to be taken to their pages to download them. I then opened one of the PNG file floral graphics from the pack in Photoshop, added a little peach background, and used the Awesome Darling font that I installed with a gold-copper overlay to make it a little more special.
Here’s my little printable you can download as a PDF and print it out for yourself, it’s an 8×8″ square image. Make sure you print it out on good cardstock or photo paper, and be sure your settings are to print at full size (100%). Then find a nice frame and voila! Instant art!
You will need a PDF reading file to open it, like Adobe Acrobat, which you can get for free here.
Please note that this printable is for personal use only, thank you!
Let me know in a comment if you’d like me to share more posts of this nature. I like making little free printables, and sharing the word about free graphics is always fun. If Creative Market has anything really cool for free that week, I can start making little free printables using the free items and sharing them with you guys on Mondays if it’s something we’re all interested in. I know this website is primarily focused on traditional media, but throwing in a bit of digital graphic design might be a nice addition.
So let me know what you think in a comment below, thanks for stopping by, and till next time, keep creating!
*Full Disclosure: the above links to Creative Market and affiliate links, and while the products are free, any future purchase from Creative Market resulting from the clicking of the links will give me a small percentage of the sale. This is of no extra cost to you, and it helps me keep this site running and the freebies coming, so thanks for your support! Creative Market is a resource I use frequently for creating digital art and graphics for the websites I run, as well as creating mockups to display my artworks, just like the one in this post! It’s something I love using and fully stand behind <3
