Pinspiration Monday: DIY Custom Candleholder and Salt Dough

Hi friends! It’s Monday again! I was browsing through Pinterest last week and came across a pin to a really neat article called 14 Random DIY Ideas Which Can Make Your Life Easier. It’s full of DIY home decor projects from using pickle jars as candle vases to photo table runners, so I thought I’d share two of them with you today!

DIY Frosted Glass Candle Holder

This craft is so simple yet looks so cute!  The model candle holder made here looks great for a party or patio decoration, but changing the colour scheme to more muted colours would really make it look elegant!

All you have to do is use a hole punch and punch out different colours from tissue paper, then mod podge it to a clear glass candle holder (dollar store!).  The result is a beautiful frosted glass candle holder in your very own custom colours!

DIY Easy Salt Dough

The salt dough recipes have been going around Pinterest lately, but this one is displayed so nicely, the recipe is easy to follow, and it even adds a little extra by showing how to stamp the dough to make really classy pieces, showing that this craft isn’t just for kids!  The ornaments made in this photo would be so cute to add to a grab bag for a baby or wedding shower!

Be sure to read the full article for more DIY crafts, and thanks so much for stopping by!

Till next time, keep creating!
