Color Theory Color Harmony: Monochrome

Hi guys! So I’m starting a new little mini video series about color harmonies. It’s been a while since I’ve done any colour theory-related videos, so I thought now would be a good time to get back to that for a little while.

So these next few videos are all about color harmonies and the various colour schemes that can be made using the colour wheel.  These strategies are not only used in the art world, but also in interior decorating and even planning.  Basically anywhere you’re putting colours together, color harmonies are involved!

This first video is about the most basic colour harmony strategy: the monochromatic colour scheme, in which only a single hue is used to create an entire painting.

I hope you enjoy and let me know in a comment if you found this helpful! Be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already so you don’t miss out on the next videos in this new series!!

Thanks for watching!!
