Hi friends! It’s Tuesday, and I’ve got another tutorial for you! I thought it would be fun to dedicate the rest of March to spring/Easter-themed crafts, so this is the first of more tutorials to come!
In this video, we’ll make two different cute bunnies out of polymer clay. You can make them as large or as small as you want, the size of your original ball of clay determines how large your bunny will be, as the rest of the bunny’s body parts are in proportion to each other. So make them 5″ tall and use them as decorations, or keep them tiny like I did! You could even add an eye pin to the tops of them and hang them on your purse, or use them as key chains. It’s totally up to you!
The only materials you need to make these little guys are:
-Polymer Clay in any colour you want. I used brown and pearl pink
-Crystals for eyes and embellishments
-Any additional embellishments you want (I used clay flower cane slices)
-E-6000 to glue the crystals on securely after the clay is cured
-Strong wire to support the perky ears if you want to make them
-Clay glaze to protect and finish your little creation!
I recommend watching it once all the way through, then watching it again when you’re ready to start crafting and pausing it as you go.
I really hope you enjoy this tutorial, and if you do choose to make your own bunnies, please post a pic of them on Instagram or Twitter with @ashleypicanco so I can see your creations!!
Have an awesome week, and I’ll see you on Friday!
