6 Art & Craft Room Storage Solutions

Hi friends! So lately my art studio has become a little out of control.  With multiple projects on the go, I’m starting to feel really cramped in my little room.  So I took a look around and realized that I’m really not using the space I have very well.  I have drawers half-empty, other drawers holding things I hardly use, and inconvenient ways I’ve been storing my paints and pencils. So I took a look on Pinterest for some organizational ideas (I am a messy person by nature, so Pinterest is seriously a lifesaver!) and I found some super clever solutions that I wanted to share with you guys, so here we go! As usual, click on the picture to be taken to the source! Enjoy!

Utensil Tray Washi Tape Holder

These utensil drawers are easily found at the dollar store, and will make keeping my washi tape and ribbons organized so much more!

Thrift Store Tray and Paper Cups

This thrift store breakfast tray can keep things together, and those cute cups are actually paper cups covered with scrapbook paper. A great storage idea for popsicle sticks and other random crafty items!

Wine Rack Marker Holder

Another genious idea, this is a wine rack with large glasses to hold markers and pens! I can probably find a wine rack at the thrift store.

Velcro Paint Tubes

Using a thrift store frame with some paper framed inside, use stick-on velcro to hold small paint or glue tubes upside down, ready to be used!

Large Planter for Paint Brushes

Using a big planter filled with small stones to hold paint brushes looks like a great idea! I will have to try this out to see how well it works. If i get a big enough planter I can just keep it on the floor.

PVC Pipe Craft Paint Holder

This cute craft paint holder is made form PVC. It would be cool to hang this on the wall too so not only does it look pretty, but it will be up and off the desk.

So there you have it, guys! I hope some of these ideas have inspired you the way they have me.  My art room needs a serious overhaul, and I’m hoping this coming weekend I’ll be able to start working on it. Cross your fingers for me that I can find what I need at the thrift store! I will update you guys once it’s all finished!

Let me know in a comment what your favorite craft supply organization trick is, and till next time, keep creating!
